Homer- First thing I did when I picked up the car was to lock the windows....

And all day, when my wife would take the car somewhere on an errand.. I'd say.. "and remember... don't roll down the windows!"

At which point she would look at me with that look.. "I heard you the first time.. and the second.. and the third.. "

Turbo, you're great!!! Thanks a lot for the pics, now I'm 110% sure on what I want! By the way, your car looks so sweet, and the tint looks to be first-class

I'm a complete newb on window tinting... so these questions should be pretty basic.

How does the percentage system work for tinting? Is it the lower the percentage, the higher the darkness of the tint? Also, I read that you guys can't roll down your windows. Is that only after you get the tint installed?

thanks

Yeah, the lower the percentage, the darker the tint.

Yes, you can't not roll down your windows, right after you get the tint done. wait a good 4-6 days before you roll down the windows just to be safe.

rock0ut, Evil's right, what he said......

percentage only determines how much percentage of lights gets through the window, so ya know, lower percentage = less light gets through = darker.

Tint is on, Pics are up!

Hope all this works...Click on the pic for a larger one. The tint is 20% on front driver and passenger and also on the hatch window. The rest of the windows are 5%. The windows are still a little hazy from getting it done. It is only 2 hours after tint in these pics. let me know what you think.

P.S. Yes, that is our MPV in the backround. 2001 Black ES. I wiush there was an aftermarket for the van. There is plenty in Japan, but not here. It is the wife's car anyway now, so it will stay as it is...probably!
