The purpose and rules of that class is naturally aspirated. If they were going to put a turbo on it they certainly would not have went with such a high compression.

the lower compression you have, the more boost you can safetly run.

with that logic, why not setup 3.0:1 compression??? too many people think they need unnecessarily low compression....
