Thumbs up WTB: Short Antenna

I am looking for a good place to get a shorter radio antenna for my new Pro5. People say I can use a VW roof style. I have also thought about cutting the factory and putting the cap back on the shortened part (but I do not know if it will affect the ant.). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ThankX.

I wouldn't chop it. Antenna's are designed depending on the frequencies they will be recieving. You won't kill your strong signal protection but you will kill your weak signal reception.

there's a guy who works at a performance shop in daytona who has a WRX with 327 dyno'd hp. it pops out of gear, cause the clutch can't take it. he's looking into importing and STI tranny. damn it's fast. he took me for a ride, and holy crap! i've only been in a few cars faster than that. but if you plan on pushing more power, definitely get a better clutch.
You are too funny. Thanks for the compliment. I don't have any problems with the clutch right now but I have many more mods on the horizon so we will see. If it is any consolation, the MP5 has much better build quality, paint and chassis regidity right from the factory IMO. The WRX is a relatively "cheap" thrill though.
