Where can i get an cold air intake kit

hi. I have a mazda protege 2000 Lx. It has a 1.6 16 valve engine. I wanted to know where i can get an air intake kit. Ive been looking forever. Can't find one. HELP!

hey, check out www.protege5online.com . they have the injen cai for the 1.6L. thats probably your best bet on a high quality intake. oh and welcome to the forum. later

You can get a cheap-o on ebay for about 45 bucks. Looking at this forum, it seems like everyone who bought one is satisfied, just make sure to get one with a cotton, not paper, filter.

(Damn, the 3rd gen engine chat room is still down!)

mtbfreak is right though, Injen (and AEM) makes the highest quality intakes on the market.

UNI Filter

If your looking for something different that really works then try,
Unifilter (http://www.uniflow.com.au/new_products.asp) and down under they call it a SP20 or as we know it a Protege 5.
I have one on mine are they are building an in the guard unit soon. If you want to see mine the email pm me and I'll send you some pics.
Oh yeah its sounds great too.
