Thumbs up Wanted Stubby Antenna

Looking for a black stubby antenna for my 2002 protege5, where I won't lose a lot of reception.

anyone got one, or know where I can get one?

thanks,
Chris

if you don't want anything billet or flashy, the stock antenna from a CX-7 will thread perfectly into the base of the P5, is only ~6" long, and is the same black plastic as the antenna base. Not sure how much they run at the dealer but it's an option.

I'll have to check the price on the CX-7 antenna from the dealer.

Thanks

thanks for the site with the CX-7 antenna. I wanted to get something where I wasn't going to lose a lot of reception. I know that the stubby from ebay don't really get that good of reception.

I've had everything on my car.. ebay stubby, Honda S2000 stubby, and now the CX-7 stubby. the CX-7 one blends in the best

as for radio reception.. I don't often listen to the radio so I dunno how it compares.

cool, maybe I will do that till I get my CX-7 antenna. When you cut your stock antenna, how far down did you cut it, and was their a whole in the antenna base?

The antenna is solid so I just cut the top skinny part. All that was left was the fat stubby part that screws into the roof.
