i dont know if anyone is planning on a custom turbo kit but i just upgraded my turbo on my wrx so i dont have any use for the stock piece. turbo has 12,XXX miles on it, of course it is a tdo4 stock turbo. the turbo has only seen 15.5 psi max alway turbo timed warmped up properly and turbo timed for cool off. the only motor oil i have ever used in my car has been mobile one full synthetic. there is absolute 0 shft play/ shaft wobble. the turbo is in immaculate condition. new this turbo sells for over $600+tax im selling it for $best offers over $200. let me know this turbo is so sweet i was making full boost under 3000 rpms!

i have a 99 1.6 litre, will this turbo spool well do you think?

well if you look at the july issue of sport compact car in the turbo tech section you will find that the tdo4 would be a good choice for any application from 1800cc-2200cc engines. i believe this wold also be a good turbo for slightly small displacemnent engine also. the stock 1g mitsubishi eclipse manual transmission turbo is the same turbo as what i got but, the exhaust port is slightly bigger. also i believe that the turbine housing is also slightly better. this would put the wrx turbo between the 1g eclipse tdo4 and the 2g eclipse with the t28. in your application the turbo should be reaching full boost around 3500rpms with the correct tuning/ supporting parts. so for your question i do believe that this is a good turbo for you.
