aw man, those engines go for $500 complete on ebay and shipping is just under $200. Thanks anyway. I'll pick one up here.

 

what color are the interior pieces? I need the pieces that go around the windshield (from the dash around the windshield to the roof) the ones by the seat belts, the ones the go around the back window (from the seats to the roof) the center console, and the oh-**** handles. And how much would this run me to send to VA?

when are you planning on driving down? what are you coming in? a truck? the engine is still in the car...my biggest problem has been trying to find a hoist to remove it

 

hmm....I'm a pretty big fella. My friend and I shouldn't have a problem lifting if it's out of the car in the open....you could put a jack under the oil pan and remove the axles, trans mounts, engine mounts and wiring harness and it should drop right out the bottom of the car. I can get it from there.

 

The only thing that has been sold off this car thus far is the trunk trim, door panels, a pillars, gauge cluster, gauge cluster surround, protege trunk badge, and the window controls. Everything else is still here

 

Hey Rod, if you need to just stop off in Gainesville on your way down and you can borrow my engine hoist, that'd be a lot easier than trying to get the motor out from the bottom!

 

that is VERY true!! It looks as though my friend with the truck (f-150 crew cab) is going to make a weekend out of it and we're going to bring our wives down with us and spend a day on the beach hopefully.
