lol@137.2 w/4 xplods

my 1 12" shiva, in a SEALED PREFAB 1.5cf box in the trunk, with only 300 watts, hits over 140db legal at the dash

and sony doesn't suck...xplods just suck...sony has definitely gone downhill lately tho...they used to be tops in televisions, but their hdtv tubes aren't nearly as good as many other manufacturers'...they still charge those high prices tho!!!

more importantly, xplod's sound like ****...and they break constantly

I have Sony Explod gear and I'm very happy with it. No problems yet and don't care much about any, I purchased extended warranty from Best Buy.

Plus the gear matches my car color.

Sony products are great but only if it says "Made In Japan" on the back of the box, but that'll cost you much more than the Sony crap you can find in Best Buy.

I resent that comment about sony being the best audio for the deaf! I disagree with that. I think that Pioneer is the best audio for the deaf. Thank you!

well I have sony xplod in the front of my car and pionners in the back and I can tell you that I hear a lot better sounding music from the back, rather than the front.
IMO Pioneer is far better than Xplod............!

I guess it all depends on what you are looking for, I used to have a Sony Xplod 10" sub and amp in a vented box, and it was good, except when I maxed out the base on the deck, the voices in songs would become all choppy, it can push if your going for a small setup, but you will have to sacrifice some SQ along the way...my Pro 5 on the other hand has a Clarion 10" sub and amp, and Im much more happier with this as it can push some serious Bass and has great SQ...well I guess I have to give credit to my alpine speakers with the SQ as well

the voices in the songs getting choppy had nothing to do with your sub

that has to do with your hu/amp/speakers/settings/xovers
