Well the turbo system is spoken for but he doesn't want the J&S with it. So I'm selling separate. I'll also be putting it on ebay so so if someone here want's it I'll give you priority over anyone from ebay since you are affiliated with this site. Here is a write-up of the safeguard and what it does from the J&S site.

Using a single knock sensor, the system detects the onset of detonation and retards the timing on a per cylinder basis. A mode switch lets you select a maximum of either ten degrees or twenty degrees of knock retard. In the ten degree range, the unit retards one, two, or three degrees per ping. Double that for the twenty degree range. The system is always trying to re-advance to stock timing. In the ten degree mode, it re-advances at the rate of one degree every twenty revolutions.

The system does not need a cam or crankshaft reference to determine which cylinder to retard. The unit is programmed to "know" that the knocking cylinder is the one that just fired, and that it won't fire again for two more revolutions. When the knocking cylinder comes around to fire again, software dials in the retard amount for that cylinder. It does this as each cylinder goes by, building up a different retard amount for each cylinder.

The unit has a high energy ignition with constant energy dwell controller. The system monitors the coil current, and adjusts the dwell time to achieve seven amps of coil current. Compared to a GM HEI, this is a 62% increase in energy stored in the coil. The system can also be used to trigger an MSD

As you can see from the site, this unit is $525. I also have the dual monitor and it is $199 extra. That is a total of $725. I have never installed it so it is still BRAND NEW. It's still in the box. I will sell it for $600 to the first person who comes up with the money.

If you have a turbo and you have been wanting to raise the boost on your MP3 or Pro5, here's your chance. You should be able to raise the boost to 10psi and know that your motor is safe with this timing control device. Like it says on the site, this device retards when it hears detonation, and it also will retard timing when a preset psi level is reached. This unit has an advantage over stand-alone timing control systems because it is constantly adjusting the timing and trying to keep your motors timing at it's full advance, thus maintaining the highest horsepower possible. This is a good deal for you guys with turbo or anyone who plans on getting a turbo.

Also, if you plan on using a stand-alond in the future, this unit can also be used in conjunction with a stand-alone. This unit will act as a "safeguard" just incase something goes horribly wrong and your turbo overboosts. This unit will save your motor because it will kick the timing way back so your motor wont blow up.
