Wink

Yes, it will be different, just make shure it is part# RD606P. Most people that have had problems witht he intake is because once they install it, they want to hear it and they accelerate the car. I just let it idle for 10-15 minutes and then went out an play No problems...yet

I've sold like 50 of the 2.0L intakes & some 1.6L without a problem yet. The main reason people have had problems is because they tried to fit the wrong intake on their engine. There is a reason Injen says the intake is made for a 1.6L engine. If it did fit the 1.8L & 2.0L then they would say that & sell more. There have been alot of people jumping to conclussions because people had problems with their 1.8L & 2.0L proteges when they where driving around with a 1.6L intake. This doesnt work. In my opinion & alot of others, Injen is one of the best intakes out there for most any car. They did an incredible job on the 2.0L intake.

yeah , but I refer to the 1.6L guys who have probs with them , like the funny idle problem and the check engine light occurances ,,. it is strange ,, those 1.8 guys who use em are doing the cut job ,, wich ,, I dunno if I would do , but hey it is a cai , and if I wanted it I guess I would do it

jaisai01, no.. no.. and no! you need the 1.8/2.0 specific version, the tubes are bent differently and such 1.6 wont fit your car properly.

there's one specifically for 1.8/2.0 but please do some research about the injen intakes before buying them I didn't even have the best of luck with a 1.6 intake on my 1.6..

look into other solutions as well

good luck,
David

look at the 3rd gen section of this board.. go back a while.. there's alot of posts on intakes.. i can't say anything without getting b*ched at.. all I'm saying is injen CAI intake isn't necessarily the best..

I'd personally go for AEM if i had a 1.8/2.0, yes the injens for both engines are seemingly interchangable..

good luck,
David
