I have a guage cluster for sale with 22k miles. Came off an MP3 and is identical to P5 cluster. has tach, was used in a manual P5. I tested this to make sure it worked, ended up trading in my P5 for a 6 and didn't use it for my project. Has white faces. Paid $200 for it. $150 plus shipping and it's yours. Works just as new. Will it work for a 2003 sedan???

 

If the protege sedan has the same cluster as the P5 it will work. If yours is a 5 speed they should be identical because it originally came out of an MP3 protege which is the sedan.

 

fyi...this will change your odometer reading. your miles are stored in the cluster...so whoever buys this will have the mileage off the new cluster.

 

yes you're right, this cluster currently shows 22,000 miles.

 

If I do buy it how am I going to wire the tach since I have a dx and dont have a tach???

 

That I am not sure of, maybe someone on the boards has a solution, I know it will work on the LX, but the DX not so sure if the wire harness is the same.

 

hmmm let me do some research and ill get back to you cause I would really like a stock tack instead of having to mount one ome where on the dash
