TPMS came off the rx8 wheels. Price is 120. Located in Houston, Texas. Willing to ship or picked up locally.

I'm guessing this is compatible with the Mazda3 and any other Mazdas that use TPMS?

Matty: Is there a rule on this forum that says you aren't allowed to sell stuff unless you're a contributing member to the community? I've been on other forums where you aren't allowed in to the for sale forum at all until you have over X posts, it's an easily doable way of implementing such a rule.

My guess (and yes, just a guess) is that this guy is a member of rx8club and someone on there told him the wheels fit on the 3/Protege/5 (seriously is there a Mazda5 owner on this site?? I haven't seen one yet) so he decided to post it on this sister site.

no, there are no rules about posting items for sale. It's just considered bad etiquette to come onto a forum, not contribute anything and try to hock your crap. Typically, if the seller doesn't have a mazda I just delete their listing. This one is for mazda stuff so I just made a smartass comment.

Excuse me for saying so, but I think you're being a little territorial and irrational. I mean... when someone sells something the buyer benefits as well. These forums are for sharing information, meeting others with similar taste, interests and vehicles. AND buying, selling, trading parts, etc. However- I agree w/mods deleting parts for sale from other mfg's. Careful though- some older Hondas & such have the same wheel pattern as our mazdas.

ps... Yes- the TPMS from the RX8's are compatible with 3's.
But it depends on the model years. I suggest researching before buying.

pss... I came here to sell my crap. And I did just that!

pss... I have an RX8 anda Mazda3, I guess that makes me twice a smartass.

psss....Welcome to the club, you two.

I don't think Roddimus id being territorial, I think he's probably trying to look out for his fellow members on this site....moderating.

There are a lot of shady people on the internet, so if you're gonna try to sell something, IMO, you should at least provide some kind of buying & selling history, even if it's from eBay. The person looking for parts will be more likely to buy from you if he's given a reason to trust you.

Like I said above it's just in bad taste to come onto a new forum and hock your crap. So my comment was in bad taste.

I don't like users....people who just use this as a free posting board for their own personal garage sale. What I respect and what I like are people who are wanting to be contributing members of a close--knit community. If you have something to sell then by all means throw it out there but people who sign up just to advertise their stuff for sale are on the same level as people sending me junk mail.

IMO....not everyone takes it as personally as I do.

Thanks eggy. Agreed. And with you as well Roddimus. My rant was actually in response to Kansei.

IMO, Taking things personally is what makes a moderator- a moderator. Kudos.

In retrospect- on www.nosr.org users will get counts for referrals from existing members and on www.my350z.com users are given counts for buying/selling/trading. Something to ponder. I have also seen other forums that will not let you sell or post pics until your post count is at least 100. I think that's a little harsh but requiring a member to own a mazda here is a great idea. *** Just noticed there is a "reputation count" on here. Cool.

Just my $.02. Great site you all have here.

The rant was in response to my post? I was the one defending the guy. Not sure what you read into my post, but it isn't what I said, that's for sure.

EDIT: still wondering what you read. I was posting calling out Roddimus because I knew there was no rule against people coming on here just to sell stuff, so it was a bit harsh to come down on someone for doing it. Basically, if the admins wanted to make it a rule, sure go ahead, but until then it seems odd to enforce unwritten rules/standards.

^ Just seemed mean. Sorry if I perceived it wrong.

***Mean isn't a good word. I thought by your sentence to Matty, you were implying he shouldn't be able to sell on here.

Sorry about that. I was being mean --but to matty, because he was being unfairly mean to the original poster. That's why I prefaced the sentence with "Matty:"

guess I should be more clear.
