FS: MP3 Springs!

I am selling my stock MP3 springs! They have 20,000 easy driven miles on them and have never been autocrossed. I have cleaned them up and they are in damn good shape as you can see in the picture. These springs will stiffen up your ride for a much more pleasurable experience through the twisties while offering a small drop (about .5") . $115 + shipping.

Fits Sedan (ES, LX etc) and should fit P5 as well.

If you are interested, please PM me.

Edit: Oh and I'll include a printout from the Shop manual on how to install if you desire!

just to help you out man

I bought a set of MP3 springs from another member a few months ago

those springs are great as the member said and ideal for the person who does not want a low rider as the other springs offer

I added it on my LX and man, i swear, i take crazy curves
you don't need to change your stock struts
A well worth investment in my opinion
for the person who wants to zoomzoom better while still looking stock, but sleeker

hope that helped

Is it known 100% for sure that these will work on a P5 w/o modification or risk of damage?? I read a post on another forum about damage to the endlinks from using MSP springs on a P5. I just don't want to know if they will fit, I need to know if they will work properly.

note: Doomer_mp3 is selling the MP3 Springs

NOT THE MSP

the mp3 and the msp DO fit
my car has the mp3
negatize has the msp

and both the base design of the protege and p5 are the same
so, they will work

Yes, these are the MP3 springs. I know of a couple of people running them on the other board without problems on a P5. The MSP springs on a P5 seem to be a different story though! There is something different about the MSP springs and I'm not sure what it is. They work on a Sedan, but supposedly not on a P5. To be honest, I don't want to say that "my MP3 springs will not damage your P5. I'm 100% sure", because I'm not. But others running them seem to support the claim. I just don't want to lie and find out the hard way if something destroys your struts or something.

Also strange - the Spool springs (from spool-turbo.com) actually raise the rear of the MSP for some reason when they are supposed to provide a 2" drop. They gave me a 2" drop on my MP3, others P5s and ES/LX Sedans. There is something different with that MSP I tell ya!

Yes I am aware that you are selling the MP3 springs. But being the MSP/MP3 are both sedans (ya think ) that they would share the same characteristics. With that said with the problems I read about with the MSP springs concerns me with the MP3 springs as well. I like the idea of better handling w/o so much of a drop. But I don't want to chance screwing something up unless I know for sure. I am interested though if I can find out what I need to know.

Good lord. These things are still available. I don't know how many times people tell me they're interested only to not respond to my PMs etc.
