I have produced a custom battery tie-down for the 1st gen Proteges. They are made from aluminum and I can get them to you for $30 shipped. You can see what the tie-downs look like on the pics below. The one shown is sandblasted, which is an option.
I can have them painted but your best bet is to do it youself as I might not guess the exact color you are looking for and if I do paint it I have to charge you a few bucks extra and I really don't want to do that. $30 seems like a fair price. After all it is custom material .............
