.. because Mazdas are crazy rare here for some reason. I was on a local car enthusiast site and the only other Mazdas are FC and FD RX-7s with corvette engine swaps in them

It's just a rare thing to see anyone from Rochester on a Mazda-related site.

 

ahhhh gotchya... and im pretty sure ive seen a red RX-7 at the Log Cabin with a vette engine in it.

 

Yeah.. corvette red and everything.. that was was up for sale (the guy bought a corvette z06 and decided he didn't need two high powered rwd monsters) on eBay a few weeks back, don't know if it sold though. amazingly clean swap.. but an RX without a rotary engine just has no soul :P
