the header will fit the 1.8. i cleared this with mitch, the man who is selling them. anyway, there are a few people who just installed it and are working out the install kinks. dyno results should be up shortly. i know o.g. sk8ter bought a set, but he hasn't installed it yet.

If it bolts up to a BP 1.8 (with no modification)then... I'll have to give in and say yes

These have been in post tests for many many months. The last batch I sold (about 5 of them) was the first official release-finalzed version. THey have been installed & work perfectly. No Check Engine Problems. No fitment issues (one had an EGR issue but it was more a weld issue than anything & it was replaced immediatly). So, these are the finalized headers and pretty much all the kinks are worked out. Thats what kept these from being released. They've been working on this header for about a year & finally gotall the kinks worked out.

It won't fit BP, only FS Protege engines.

i'm no longer part of this group buy, but i am still going to organize it. i am gauging interest into racingmazda.com's header that will be modified to fit our 3rd gen proteges. here's the link:

*edit* the link has been corrected to show the right thread.
