Ok if you own a protege , and you are coming to carlisle this year and you are showing your protege, can you please respond here with your name and protege, also if you have a protege 5 it would be good if you joined also , there is a chance that we may be able to get our own spot, but I am going to check out there website and see if we can do this ,.. If we only would need 10 cars or so , would you guys be down to join in ,,

I'll be there Friday and plan on registering for following events: Participant Ballot Show field, NASA drivers' school and the time trial competition on the road course. I have no idea which category I should enter for the show. We should get our own Protégé category. I've made reservation at the RAMADA LIMITED / CARLISLE

http://carsatcarlisle.com/CCPJ/ccpj.htm here you will be able to get directions and so forth , a lot of people are crashing in each others rooms , it is basically an event where there are plenty of improts and such , showing in a (from what I observed of pics) very big feild . There are different categories wich you can see on the website , I linked you to , i will email them tonight and attempt to get more info on registration . The more protege's that we get to come out the better we will look , imagine if we get 20 protege's to come out there , we could have our own booth ,(so Wil says ) ..

I strongly agree the more of you Protégés that show the better respect we will get for our Protégés. If we where to have like 50 Pros showing the aftermarket guys would say, "Whaz Up!" and we would start getting more attention in the way of product development and support for our babies. Some come on out and show your support for your Protégé community. Plus I really, really hate f'ing Hondas.

You guys please make sure that you understand , that you don't have to have all types of crazy stuff going on with your car to show it , just the fact of you having you ride out there is more than enough and will send that message to the vendors that will be there. I know that there will be some other protege's that will show up that are not from the net , egroups , or the forum .. so we will have to engulf them also into our realm ..

I only wish I could come this year. I totally agree with Bruce, because I do not have much on my car at all, but if I had a chance I would be there. Though count me in for the next year. I hope people and their Pros show up this year, and we can possibly get more parts out there. It really does benefit all of us. That way we can achieve a stronger image for us and our Pros every year.

 

If that **** wasn't all the way on the other side of the damn country from me, I'd be there. Carlisle sounds like it's gonna be hot this year. It'd be cool to get a Pro group together to show. Hopefully a midwest meet will be in the works soon. I could probably make it to that. ;D
