A friend of mine locked my keys in my car once. I was at his house in Tampa it took me an hour to fish the door open with a coat hanger. Paint job and all the cops just kinda sat there and watched me the entire time. I guess they figured it was my car. That was ******* frustrating.

Tow companies will unlock a car for you for roughly $50. I had to call one at the grocery store last winter because my old Grand Am would randomly lock itself and the wind blew the door shut while I was loading up groceries. The truck came in about 15 minutes. It beats $100 and time spent getting it repaired (not to mention cut ankles).

i feel you. used to keep a spare key on me all the time. when i got a designer wallet from my friend as a graduation gift, it didnt have a place to stow away the key. lo and behold, not a month after i stopped carrying my spare key, i've already locked myself out of the car! had to call the sister to get a spare key from the house to unlock it.

I swear my 'gé hates me, the doors always seem to be locked after I get out of the car and its happened to me twice.....first time 20 minutes before I had to show up for the road test to get my license and the second time at a friend's house but by then I made a spare.

Seems every other car has that feature preventing you from locking yourself out. Makes me look like an a$$ every time.

I NEVER lock my car from inside. I always use the clicker. Hence, no keys locked in car. The mall cop was probably just a damn dirty rantacop anyway. Man I love messing with them. Especially in parking decks with them in their trucks. Heeheehee, good times...
