The deer was bleeding from the eyes, nose and ears so it's probably no good. Besides, animal control picked it up just after I took the pics anyway.

I'm at a crossroads. If the car is fixed, it may never me the same, but if I sell it, I'm only $4000 in my pocket, so it's hardly worthwhile. My parents want me to get an MSP, but the alternative is to throw a WW kit on this one instead of the factory bumper and stuff and keep it. I'm still undecided. I want an Orange MSP, 2003 not the 2003.5's. (Those are UGLY,) and there's none left for sale.

Plus, I'm kinda "attached" to my P5. I'll get the Mazda blacked out headlights, new foglights, a WW kit, an new CF hood and we'll call it a day I'm thinking... ARRGH! Decisions, decisions...

Good choice. Like I always said, "don't let a bad deer get you down"

hhmmm, if I was you, I'd weigh my choices. The money factor, Mods factor and which you will be better off with in the long run. MSP? Or adding more new parts and reparing my current Car.

Well, as it stands, if I did manage to find a 2003 MSPstill not sold, I'd be able to afford it, but barely. I would have nothing left for mods, etc. Just Car, gas, and insurance every month...

As it stands right now, I'll keep the P5.

Damn Nick, that sucks real bad. Thankfully you are OK...that's all that matters. This reminds me when my car was rear ended last year... I was so glad to be back in my car after it was out of the shop.

Hey Nick, sorry to hear your loss. I haven't been keeing up-to-date on the forum & was shocked to hear this from Em this past weekend.

If the repair work is done right, you will hardly know the diff in your car (except may be better with some newer mods? ).

I suppose another alternative is to get your car fixed now then sell it then get the MSP, if you are not comfortable with the fixed car. With all the mods you have put in, this should give you a bit more cash than just getting rid of the car now.

In any case, hope to see you & your 'new' ride at Mazda in the Mountains! Good luck!

Margeret,

Where have you been? We thought we lost another member! I'll be keeping my car after all, but liek you mentioned it'll have a few "extras" when it's done. If I don't have it for MITM I'm gonna ****, but I most likely will.

Hey Maxx Mazda, is that a pic (avatar) of you talking to the insurance company?! That really sucks. Statistics say that most accidents happen within 1 mile of your home. Good thing you work at a body shop, so you can get the thing fixed at a good price, but still sucks and is going to run you some money! Sorry to hear about the accident and glad you weren't hurt.

hey maxx, since most accidents happen with 1 mile of your house, you should probably move!
