looking to get a mountain bike, specialized or a canondale, minimum 21 speed

 

Personally I'd get a Cannondale (great bike but pricey) over the Specialized. Not the same company anymore. Stay away from RockyMountain, bought out by CCM, no longer the same company.(obviously!!) Just bought my wife a Kona LavaDome. Great bike, inexpensive $899. Strong, made in Canada. Most of my friends ride Kona's and they'd never get anything else, and 3/4 are freeriders and beat bikes to death!! Me I'm too old.
