Why Jaywalking is bad for my car...
To quote the officer on scene:
"V2 Driver said he was driving east on GA 10 Business at the intersection with evans street. V2 was in the far right lane. pedestrian #1 was crossing ga 10 business walking south. pedestrian was a heavy set black female wearing all brown. V2 tried to swerve but struck ped #1. Ped #1 complained of a hurt hand, but left scene walking east on ga 10 business."
^ Is that not CRAZY!
Anyway, this happened last night around 7:30ish... basically she RAN into the side of my vehicle. My driver side mirror was knocked off (hanging by power wires) and there is a huge "rippling" dent in my driver side door
Will take pictures of course!

Day-uum! That woman wasn't heavy-set, she was Shamu! I would have hated to see the damage if she did more than walk into the side of your car. Surprised the impact didn't roll you over. Hope it works out for you. FYI, when I had my rear passenger door dent fixed this spring, it was cheaper for the shop to buy a complete door instead of reskinning the old one. Might want to check into that, save some headache.

I have the worst luck lately! driving my wifes car, hit a stupid pothole (ran right out in front of me!) -- actually, I was meeting a vehicle on an old backroad, not a lot of room.... anyway, bent both passenger side rims! found the only place open on saturday that wasnt packed (ford dealership) - all 4 rims are bent (right side worse of course)... dangit! So... back to the 16's w/ new tires for the '01 - selling the 17 rims 4 anyone who feels like straight'n 'em out.
