hey i just wanted to find out what most car companies charge per km if your leasing your car (if you go over the set number of kms). The company that i'm working for requires me to drive quite a bit in my new car and i'm starting to rack up the kms and i want to request that they update what they pay us per km . Right now i'm putting more kms for work then i do for my personal use and i'm paying for the car so i'm getting kind of pissed off right now.....so i need something to negotiate with...

it should be on your lease agreement. I know with my '99 Grand AM it was $0.12 Canadian per excess kilometer. (not sure if it's with all cars). With you guys in the states, i imagine it's 10 cents per kilometer, MAYBE 9...

Not too expensive but if you go over 10,000kms at the end, that's an extra 1000$ almost.....

in any case, check your lease agreement, it's written somewhere there for sure.
