Yeah...I wish Just been taking it easy on the websurfing lately. My mind is not really on the cars right now because money has been so tight. I'm just dreaming my life away...waiting for the next 74 days to pass so I can go on my vacation!!!!
Oh, and I got my scooter tagged [finally] so I can ride LEGALLY anywhere I want to go! I rode to work & back on Monday and it took only 15 minutes woo-hooo...I was maxed out at 32mph on the downhill slopes hahahaha Ah, for the love of 49.5ccs...

It's all Scott's fault [really]. He picked it up last year from some guy...anyway...it's a Geely 2B (2 stroke). I'd have to get a motorcycle endorsement to ride anything bigger than 50ccs. I figure that I'll get used to riding this one around for a while and then move up to something bigger and better (and more expensive ha!) when the time is right. I'm not going to set any land-speed records on my Geely, but then again, I'm not trying to ride it on the highway or anything! Thank goodness I'm such a lightweight though, it makes the bike respond a bit better

There's a Yahoo! group for Geely scooters (and other Chinese scooter orphans), but the scooter forums themselves are a bit "elitist" IMHO. If you don't ride a Vespa or a Lammy, or an "approved" import like Yamaha or Honda, then you are basically ridiculed by the entire forum.

yeah, I've head geely are real good but no'one on the scooter forum I'm on will buy one because dealers and service is NOWHERE o be found apprently. I wanted something more of a sport bike look. In the "new womp vehicle" thread I posted a scooter...that was the 04 model...this new one is the 05 of the saem company.

Basically, any of the "internet" bikes, aka the "cheap Chinese junk", are the outcasts of the scooter society. No dealer support...limited or no warranty. However, if you are mechanically minded then you should have no problems working on a scooter. Thankfully I have the boys at my disposal and they have worked on motorcycles and dirtbikes. We actually have a scooter shop here in town and our BMW motorcycle dealership is selling new Vespas. So, so tempting.....

You live in 'Bama....but claim the Georgia 'Dawgs as your home team....of course you're hated on. You know what I go through here as a Miami 'Canes fan??? With all these Auburn & 'Bama fans everywhere....it drives me NUTS!
