Who uses a electronic polisher/buffer to wax?

I just got a Simoniz cordless orbital polisher, and haven't put it to work yet. I did try it out and it was plenty powerful. It came with a charger and two rechargable battery packs too plus alot of polishing, buffing and waxing accesories.

The reason I got one was because I used one the other day at my friends house, not only was it quicker, but it also prevented the wax to contact my hands and trashing them. I have ezcema.

Anyways, do any of you guys use them? And do they produce more surface scratches? What about the shine and so on?

haha, you're every bit as excited as me dude.

walmart and canadian tire carry a wide selection of replacement pads. i'm going to get some cloth ones to replace the foam ones the unit came with, since the foam ones are kinda hard.

Where'd ya get the PC-7424? How much was it? From what I've read, it's the sweetest thing for waxing cars

I got it from a place on the internet (Costal Tool) for 136$ U.S(this includes shipping). Works out to be around 180$ canadian. It came with some bonus stuff too, which really made it a good deal If you do purchase this from some place in the U.S make sure they don't ship by UPS. Those guys are crooks!!! they charged me nealy 38$ for brokeage fees!!!! the taxes were only 11$ I would have asked for them to send it by normal U.S postal or even Fedex not UPS. If you want to buy it in canada I think Acklands-grannger sells this and also check Home hardware stores, but even after the duty and brokerage fees I saved money instead of buying it from canada.
