Who do you pick in the AL and NL?
Being a diehard Anaheim Angel fan since 1979 and dying each time they fall short of my unrealistic expectations - I wonder what are your feelings about the MLB playoffs. Do you have a fav? Why? For how long? Who will win the World Series?

Oakland Athletics
Anaheim!?
Ehhh! Wrong answer!
Here's the team: Oakland A's, baby!!
The A's kick *** and no one can deny it. That's why we won 20 in a row, took the Western Division, and have the second best record in ALL of baseball (including the National League).
We screwed up in the first game, but put things back together in the second and kicked the Twins' ***.
Next we're gonna go through New York, then move on to the Series and kick the National League's ***. Would be great if SF made it again so we could have another Bay Bridge Series. Hopefully this time there won't be an earthquake...

Yes, Anaheim! Being raised here in Disneylandville, it's just one of those home team things. After beating the Bronx Bombers last night I'm still believing they can. We'll see.

The A's?!?!?
I think not! I was at the Battle of the Bay series and experienced the earthquake first hand (Upper Reserve, Section 29, Row 14, Seat 12). The A's got lucky then. The Giants are going all the way and are going to win the big dance this year!
Yup, Yup!

Let's See,
D'backs: Not going to make it past the first round so a repeat series is out of the question.
I haven't seen the Yankees mentioned since so many people hate the Yankees. But I don't and they shall win again!

How about those Angels? Good, bad, or indifferent - they did spank the yanks. D-backs? Sorry, not gonna make it. Go RedBirds. I'm hoping for an Angels v Redbird WS. We'll see.

ProtegeMaster: sorry about the A's. Actually, I'm relieved. Rather see the Astounding Angels play the Twins, knowing Anaheim would probably have lost to Oakland. (Although, they said the same about the Bronx Zoo). Went to Friday's game! Amazing how even down 6-1, they came back to win 9-6. Absolute Pandemonium. I'm going to this Saturday's game in Anaheim. Game 4 of the best of 7 series - when they clinch it! OK, I'm hopeful.
Would really like to see the Redbirds play the Angels in the WS. Chuck Finley pitching (or seeing his ex Tawny K making an a@# of herself); in memory of Daryl Kile; and/or Jim Edmonds playing at the big A (former Angel), etc., etc.
GO BIG RED STORM!!!
