Where's your nickname from?

Most people think mine's from Enter Sandman by Metallica. Although I think that the black album was their last great album, that's not where I got my screen name from!

Anyone ever read the Sandman comics published by DC-Vertigo back in the day? They were written by Neil Gaiman (see my favorite books thread), and were by far the greatest pieces of graphical fiction that I'd ever read. The story was incredibly deep and far more mature than any other comic put out at the time. It's a shame the series came to an end.

I've been using the Sandman nick ever since. Which is a long time, as I started using Sandman during the days of 9600 baud BBSing!

When I lived in Res in my 3rd year of University, I met a Goth guy that lived on my floor. He was VERY into the Sandman comics...cool stuff.

My username is Hella lame...I'm a fan of Proteges. Whoopee. LOL!

Well, my SN isn't quite that old. I was a senior in HS ('00), and I was trying to think of the most rediculous name imaginable, and it stuck. I'm funkdaddysmack pretty much anywhere I sign up on the net these days. Gotta gimme some originality points at least

Well mine is old and it has stuck, I used to be into The Vampire RPG series and I used to do alot of online role playing. My character's name was Kyol....and online you would denote what type of character you were...like the vampires would all use V's cause the represented Fangs.
The original user name was... VvkyolvV....but later the fangs were dropped and I just kept the V's. I kept the user name so my friends could always find me, be it @yahoo, @ hotmail, etc.

Well, I used to try to go by EZRider, seeing as how I love to ride my Harley FatBoy. That name was taken too often, so I shortened it to Rider and added my birth year to make it more easily available. I guess it would be even better if I added another 'er' to the end. Rider69er, get it, Ride her, 69 her!

You have to be in aviation to be familiar with my nickname. That is my other love, aviation photography with the emphasis on military aircraft. Anyway, my favourite aircraft is the McDonnell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk and the 174 is my birthday, 17th April. I know it is not Mazda related but it is the name I use on the NET. Makes it easy to remember.

Sweedenhouse is just a wrestler's name I use from ICP's Stranglemania. He forms the tag team The Mushroom Boys, with his brother Ponderosa.

I got my nickname while I was in the service. Army Recon.

My last name is Neckerauer.

One day we had a illegal hand to hand combat contest. I dropped this guy right on his head and cracked his neck. So my name went from Neckrofeliack, to Neck breaker.

Then one night I was out getting drunk with some squad buddies and I was trying to pick up some chicks, and they dissed me, so I slapped one of them and I then got the nick name Nasty Nick.

Then it shortened to Nick later.

AndrewRobertLockwood240 - that's the type of user name they assigned to us in engineering for our computer accounts. Then to be consistent I kept it for everything. And it is never taken at any site when signing up.
