I was wondering the other day.

Definition of a Prostitute
One who solicits and accepts payment for sex acts.

What a **** star does
Gets paid to do sex acts while being photographed/video taped.

So what is the difference? If one were to hire a prostitute and perform sex acts and video tape it to sell later, would that be legal?

I never saw a difference. I think prostitution should be legal. Obviously there is a demand for it, and the state could regulate it.

A prostitute gets paid $20 for sex while some **** stars are well into the thousands. Haven't heard of a rich prostitute, but some **** stars drive around Vipers......

there's no difference , they get $$$ for sex... sex for money is prostitution.
not all **** stars make tons of money. only the big names eg: jenna jameson etc.
it's a shame because some of them are such gorgeous girls.
they could be doing something else like an office job etc. and live a decent life
but i guess they prefer to be ******

instead they get treated like ****, they degrade themselves and have no self respect.

I imagine there is some sort of licensing requirement before you can make any film that has to be met. It would be stupid just to leave it open as a loophole because every ***** would just turn on a camcorder and say they were making a movie.
