What car (if any) accompanies your Protege?

Do you or your significant other own have another car that accompanies your Protege?

If so, what is it?

(Of course I apologize profusely if this topic has been covered already.)

This topic came to mind being that we are purchasing a new car.

Now in our driveway will be a 2003 Protege 5 and a 2000 Volvo S40 Turbo

The other half is trading in his Subaru. Good bye AWD, Hellooo Safe Swede-mobile.

I have an 03 Protege and an 89 Civic... my g/f drives an 03 MPV... (HELLOOOOOOO ******* Wagon)

Scary thing is... I like the mini-van... power sliding doors.... captains chairs, and a 5 speed auto make the damn thing pretty sweet. If I had the bank to trick it......... my christmas list would be longer than most criminal's rap sheets.

The wife drives a '99 Suburban. With 3 kids, it gives us more room on long trips. One of the reasons I bought the P5 was because all 5 of us could fit (for now).

I agree 100%! But then again, the Plymouth Road Runner was just a Satellite ...

Me: '03 ES
Wife: '97 Accord.
and my wife's old car, a '92 Corolla, is just sittin' in the driveway until my *cringe* daughter gets her license in a few weeks.

Yup, exactly the same here. Got rid of the wife's 2001 Windstar minivan, and moved into a 2002 Ford Explorer to handle the 3 boys. She got tired of being a minivan mom.

Ended up getting rid of my '92 Miata last year when the wife declared she wouldn't drive it anymore. The turning point was when I was stuck with three sugar charged boys in the house on a rainy day with no car that would fit all of them - that was the day I decided I needed to get the P5

Hahaha! Actually, good idea! I should probably try & find one of those tags zoologists use to track gorillas &tc in the wild. I could tag her on the ear when she's sleeping! She's got so many earrings she wouldn't notice another one anyway.
(Then again, do I REALLY wanna know where she is & what she's doing ALL the time?? I was sixteen, once...)
