To anyone who has done any webdesign (and the actual webmaster of this website)...

How much did you pay for Vbulletin (if anything )??

I'm gonna be using a bulletin board soon, and deciding between phpBB and Vbulletin.

The differences is mainly cost. phpBB is free! But I like the functionality of Vbulletin. How does the pricing work? Do you just pay the $160 once?

 

Umm... if you look around the web closely enough... you can find one of those "Try before you buy" full versions floatin' around....

 

What about UBB, you didn't like that one?

 

Nahhh I didn't like UBB too much. I've tried using it, and the layout personally is much better with vbull and phpbb.

Webmaster: so are you saying I should go with phpBB?
