drinking this brand new Coca-Cola flavor right now as I'm typing. Tastes ok, a little bit similar to cream soda, but definitely different from classic Coke.

anybody else have had this? what do you think?

I personally love Vanilla Coke. My friends from high school and I grew up on that stuff. We use to make our own before it came in the bottle like it does now. It isn't quiet as good, but it's definatly comparable.

 

you made vanilla coke yourself? what did you use, just vanilla extracts?

I just finished it, the vanilla taste is a little too artificial even for me, not as good as a nice ol' coke float with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of a glass of ice cold coke classic

 

Had one today, it was ok. I like cream soda better! I still do the dew though.

 

I like the new Red Dew, i forget what its called hmm hmm good tho. Has the Vanilla Coke gone nationwide, or is it in the testing phase in certain areas?

I remember making my own Cherry Coke when I was a kid, before they came out with Cherry Coke. Homemade Cherry Coke tasted better than the store bought. Vanilla probably is the same...

I haven't seen Coca-Cola brand vanilla coke up here in Canada yet... Is it anything like Jones Vanilla Cola?

 

It's already out? I heard Pepsi's coming out with a new flavor too..

 

I dont think its out yet, according to this site http://www.vanilla.coke.com/home.html they are going on tour with it.

 

yeah it's out already, at least where I'm at it is (N. Va, fairfax county).

probably like someone said, right now it's just regional markets, they haven't gone nationwide yet...

 

Last night Conan had a spot sponsored by vanilla coke. I thought it was something they made up on the show???

heh. ...And to think Pepsi had Crystal Pepsi, which tasted great, but died out because they marketed wrong. They marketed it as a "clear pepsi," but it had a different taste. Had they only said "Pepsi, with a new taste and clear!" ...or something, it would have survived.

That soda was so good. I actually grow upset talking about how they stopped making it. Man, it was good!

The vanilla coke is way better than that super lemon pepsi thats out. I think te vanilla coke will make it on th market
