NOT SOON ENOUGH!!

I remember growing up under Reagan, Bush Sr. and Clinton and being proud to be an American. Now I'm embarrassed when I have to go to work conferences and listen to the people from Canada/Europe/Australia talk about us.

I understand that oing to "war" can make a leader unpopular, but Bush Sr. did it and had everyone's support. He was popular. Clinton did it. He was VERY popular. Dub-ya does it...the entire world hates us except for England whom we own. I think England still remembers the whooping they took last time. We've only gotten bigger and badder since then....and boy do we love to show it. We're like the big bully on the playground who doesn't like the way someone else does something so instead of letting the teachers (UN) handle it we take it on ourselves to go too far and involve too many people in a FUTILE EFFORT.

Anyone in Canada (not french canada) wanna put me up for about 3-4 years?? My wife is a great cook!! My gut goes to prove that!

'm not trying to stir the pot here and say the war is right or wrong, but the UN had many chances to take care of business and didn't. The UN is like a big tiger with no teath or claws.

If the UN thought Saddam was a "iminent (sp?) threat" they would've done something about him.

Only after Bush disobeyed the UN and broke treaties do we find out his info was wrong...oopsie. Oh well, should I apologize and ask for help..Nah, lets just ham-fist our way through this for the next 20 years while making all of our friends rich, our nation broke and drag our name through the mud (or sand as it were).

Bush is a hero....to capitalist oil-mongers everywhere.

....and once again, we Michiganders have another reason to be proud of NOT being from Ohio. I remember one of my trips through Ohio, I saw a rather unattractive lady standing out on the front porch of her trailer in her underwear smoking a cigarette. Yup, that's Ohio. Chances are, we never even would have fought the war of 1812 if we had known then what we know now about the Ohio River Valley. It's scary.... think Deliverence without the scenery.

The only thing that gets me kinda hot is this. I voted Bush, I think he should be given the chance to finnish what he started, and the econoy is not as bad as people say it is, and he must not be doing as bad as people say he is. He did win both the Popular and Elect. votes hands down.

Now with that said if Kerry would have won I would not be sitting here complaining and saying I want to move, or I am embarrassed. \
Kerry was for Gay marrige, pro choice, stem cell and all that othe liberal stuff that I frankly find just plain wrong. But I would give him his right and support him 100%just like I do Bush. Who gives a **** what France or Germany think, guess who sold the bomb to the terroist that are being used today, I'll give you 2 guesses!
I guess thats the differance between most Vets and every one els. It doesn't really matter who it is calling the shots, they all suck, they all watch out for the rich ( I haven't heard Kerry giving money away to the poor) and thay will all make the hard dicisions(?) that will **** off some people.
You live in the GREATEST nation in the world and every one els wants to be you, A US CITIZEN!

And if that wasn't enough for you, its only 4yrs! And just for bitchin NANANANA! LOL!!

I hope you guys aren't serious about moving to Canada or anything like that. I think I have more to be worried about than you guys at the moment. I voted Kerry, this was my first election, and was proud to do so. But I turned 18 this last summer, and have filled out my selective service card. While I do not want to go to war for this chicken **** of a president we have, if I were drafted, I'd go and fight, and maybe die becuase its the right thing to do. I have already decided though that if a draft were to be enacted, I'd go and join with the Air National Guard and drop school for a semester for basic training. I'd rather be a crew chief on an A-10 Warthog, than a ground-pounder gettting the **** kicked out of me. Either way, I will serve my country, I ask myself what makes me different than the people who are seving and dying now... I am an able body who can do the job as well. THAT's where real patriotism lies.

My point is, please be careful when you say that you're scared of the administration and want to move to Canada, or England, or wherever, becuase there are some of us who have a LOT to worry about.

I HATE Bush, I think he's a dictatorial ****-face who, and yes I dare say it, is our generations Hitler. I just wish people would have realized how dangerous he is. BTW, are there really 55(?) million people who actually like him in this country...I'd like to believe that the election was rigged, but who knows... for more years of hell....

Do you know whats wrong with your statement? No? Neither do the other people who voted for him.

A presidents job is to do what? It's to translate and enforce our nations laws and constitutions when making discissions. IT IS NOT A PRESIDENTS JOB TO LET HIS PERSONAL RELIGIOUS/MORAL BELIEFS DICTATE WHAT HE DOES IN OFFICE.

I can't stress this enough. I'm a staunch christian living in the bible belt and I make sure that I'm able to seperate my religious belifes from my political needs.

I wasn't voting for a new preacher. I was voting for a national leader who wouldn't legislate his PERSONAL (not everyone elses) views onto the nation. While I PERSONALLY agree with him on the issue of gay marriage, abortion, etc I know that it's not my place (or his) to make decisions for everyone else that restrict their personal freedoms based solely on my religious beliefes.

p.s. there is no "war" in Iraq right now. The war was disarming Saddam's millitary and taking the country. We've done that. What we're dealing with now is the crap that an unwelcomed occupying force would deal with when overthrowing any random country. If france came into the US and took control of the white house the country is taken but there would still be pockets of resistence all over. Bush did the exact same thing Hitler did during WWII. He made up some excuse to convince a majority of the population to let him invade another country.....I fear that the UN and other nations are going to come to us with an ultimatum.

I refuse to support this president and I pray for a swift end to him. I do that for everyone across the world.

While I DO RESPECT ALL OF YOUR VIEWS AND OPINIONS, I have to say that I do think we need more church in the Gov. I mean look at what we have become. We are now a society that likes to watch people get hurt humiliated just for the hell of it. You say Bush is like Hitler! Come on, what has he done and don’t say Iraq! The HOUSE AND THE SENATE both agreed unanimously to back him. After he went to the UN and all of the sissy Countries said no, (because there were making money off of Iraq) Bush went it with the Allies that he had. And by the way most Americans agreed and still do, that’s why he has 4 more yrs! Hawian I have great respect for your patriotism, but you can’t have it both ways. I think more 18yr olds should have the respect for the county like you do.
Think of this, what makes some thing right or wrong? We go by the majority vote right?
Why do we say it is wrong for kids to say F%@# you, why is it a law that you can only go 70mph on the highway? Because the majority of the people said so. With that said the majority of the people voted and said Bush was right, and that Bush not Kerry was the man to do the job. If you do not agree than that (just like if a kid says F#%$ you to his mom, or you get caught speeding) your wrong. Sorry but the people have spoken.

PS
Rod, I will not let you move to Canada untill you are done with the SC!! The shipping would be to high! So your stuck. LOL

and this is why you're a republican. You can't understand that our ruling body and our religious body HAVE to be seperated in order to treat everyone fairly.

Kerry is a catholic and the catholic church chose to support Bush. The reason is because Kerry campaigned on the fact that his personal beliefs were not the entire countrys beliefs.

In our country we have a right to persue our choice of religion or no religion at all. That is our right. Now if we have a leader in office who is MANDATING religious beliefs on people who share different views we are not only alienating our citizens we are basically wiping our asses with the constitution. The ACLU (american civil liberties union) is here so we can protect our freedoms given to us in the constitution. Why would we elect a president who would just throw that all away?

p.s. no'one is doubting the legitimacy of Bush's win this year. Your whole "majority wins" thing is kinda pointless. I understand more people want Bush as president. I also understand that if I wish to burn the president in effigy everyday of my life at the top of my lungs it's my right to do so. I think I'm being easy on him for how rude/mean I could be!!

p.p.s. As a bible carrying Chistian I honestly in my heart of hearts feel Bush is the anti-christ to bring about the last world war. I really hope i'm wrong. Things that he is doing coincide very closely with the end of times in Revelations.
