I just thought of this when I saw the CAI post. I know on Injen's website they have dyno'ed results from their CAI being installed. Correct me if I am wrong wouldn't the car need to be moving to get accurate measures (dyno your sitting still) of gains. OK I guess what I am asking is does the CAI need air ramed in to it from the outside or does it just suck in a greater amount of air (sitting still or moving)???

 

when you dyno a heavy duty fan is used to blow air across the radiators and engine bay....this is typically more than enough air to get accurate readings.

OH well then you must go to a dyno...it's quite the experience....


Last time I went (and dyno'd the Nanner) my friend JR (dyno operator) put a helmet on and turned on my LED lights during the dyno run. I have it on video ahahahahahahahhahahahahaha

 

yeah, when I did my dyno pulls we let off and then put on the hazards to let everyone else know I had already "won".
