Star Trek: Nemesis

Anyone else a Trekkie? I don't know about anyone else but I'm dying to see this film. I can't wait. This is supposed to be the last movie with the TNG crew, it's sad to see them go. I grew up watching TNG.

The film looks awesome, just from looking at the previews.

Since I've seen every TNG movie in theatres, this will probably be no different. I think the last movie I saw in theatres was Insurrection. and the last movie before that, that I saw in theatres was First Contact, and the last one I saw in theatres before that was Generations.
I'm not into it as much as I used to be, but I figure its probably worth my time to go.

I wouldn't catagorize myself as a REAL Trekkie...but I love the shows....I still watch them in syndication....and I can't wait to see the movie....I am sure I will love it.

I'm definately going to be there. I can't wait.

One thing to note, if this movie does go over well, it could be the last ST movie made.....IMHO, they really need to do one with DS9, heh.

its already been stated that this will be the last movie with the current cast from TNG......however....with the trend of movies now a days.....what we COULD end up seeing is a PREQUAL.....from the adventures of PRE Capt. Kirk....with the current crew/cast from ENTERPRISE. that is totally within the realm of posibilities.

i like the special effects since it done by the same guys that do starwars (industrial light and magic).

have you noticed whenever Riker is in charge of the enterprise he always manages to blow it up or crash it or demolish it in someway?

the last ds9 was the end of the dominion war. so ds9 is actaully over, and voyager got home so thats that..

Yeah I can say I'm looking forward to it.

I actually thought #6 (The Undiscovered Country) was my favorite.

#2 was by far the best.

Who's to really say? The whole DS9 series wasn't about the dominion war (altho it was pretty dry until then, heh), so you really never know.

IIRC, the entire movie (aside from acting) was done with CGI, IOW, no models were used. I'm not sure if this has since changed, but the concept is still pretty interesting.

I consider myself a trekkie. I have seen all the movies and watched pretty much all of TNG and Voyager. I really like the new one (Enterprise).

They don´t show the episodes anymore over here (only Enterprise), so I download off the internet the ones that I didn´t get to see.

I think the next movie should be with the Voyager crew. DS9 never caught my attention... I never thought there was anything particularly interesting about an space station that goes nowhere.

For those not yet aware ADMIRAL Janeway will be in Nemesis. Perhaps we will see the Voyager crew in films in some point. I loved Voyager, so I'd really like to see that... but I doubt it'll happen. I think that the next likely cast to have cinema releases will be enterprise.

We´re going to have to wait until the series ends before we see them on the big screen. Movies have only come out after series end, not during the series lifetime. I think the next crew will be Voyager, not yet Enterprise.
