I like the way he forgot to mention about the posts....They may get QUANTITY, but we get QUALITY. It's what happens when you have mature people running the show, not little kids. I came to these boards from the others due to their lack of maturity and knowledge.

this site may have quality in the 3rd gen area, but in the first gen section, its n00bs. now we were all n00bs once, and i remember my first post, but for 1g info, clubprotege is now the place to go. i mean come one, in 1g general u have like 25 ppl asking the same question. it all boils down to each site has good things. this site has the archives, and its where most of us grew to know our cars, and the ppl with which we grew to know them were here. club protege has most of the die hard 1g guys that couldnt stand to be without their information, or cameraderie. its all opinion, and neither one is nessecarily right, neither one is wrong, its just what u prefer. now please, keep ur squabbling to pm's and the instant messenger services that were given to us.

On Club Protege, I post references to Protege Club without any problems. On this site, if I post a reference to Club Protege, will my post be deleted? If so, I would have to seriously consider not coming here anymore. If you block the free flow of information, what's the point of having a website to begin with?

 

No serious post with a ref to ANY other site gets deleted. Never has ... it's the Trolls who come here and post things like:

or

yeah boosted that is cool we understand that you do want to upkeep a _professional_ image. but i can't even refference 2/3 of my material becuase it is on a different site. i can answer 98% of the 1st gen questions but i cant prove my point of view because i can refference literature.

 

I mean to no offense, but when ever I see a newbie with 2nd gen, I tell them to go the new forum, because there is more help there. I help out here as much as possible, but I am not here all the time, and we as community do not want to turn newbies away.

you know my big prob with this club was for a while there it was down all the time and it seemed liked it would come up and then 25 mins later it was gone again so I just stoped comming here it was pointless. now thats it is back up and hopefully will stay up its nice to have all the info back that was on it if it is still here I hope so there was a lot of good info. Oh and if the search works good.
