I think Im addicted to most racing games on the PS2...lets see what i got: GT3, GTA3, GTA:VC, Auto Modellista, NFS Hot Pursuit, Burnout 2, Midnight Club, Le Mans, Driving Emotion Type S, WRC, TER: Zero, SOCOM, Madden 2001.
Games Im going to get: Midnight Club 2
Games I've sold: Test Drive, MGS Sons of Liberty, and others I cant remember...

 

PS2 has much better games imo, btw there is not fee to play online for PS2

 

yeah thats a very good point the only game that has an internet fee is evercrack online adventures and then who would want to play that crappy *** game lol im so bored...

PS2 is better solely for the games available. Vice City was fun but IMO GTA3 was better. The only extra part of Vice City worth mentioning was the motorcycles. The game I am hooked on now is Pro Race Driver, awesome game, and only $39.99. I am also hooked on NBA Live 2003. Who has network here, I wanna get it and play against you guys in some games, mainly Madden and NBA Live.

 

id definately get a PS2 over any other system out there ... i want another one for my car, thats all i do in "skewl" is play PS2

I usually am a lone wolf on this one b/c I recommend the gamecube, mainly b/c I enjoy specific party and adventure games. Since you are looking for for good driving games (by the sounds of it), the playstation is the way to go. Me and my buddies however, love multiplayer party games, not the online talk over a headset halo stuff, real-in-person-rip-into-your-buddy-and-make-fun-of-his-sorry-***-skills games like Super smash melee, super monkeyball, and mario party. When mario kart comes out, I will be the first to pick it up, nothing better than battle mode in that game. Sure the gc has mostly kiddy graphics, but that makes it funner when beating on your buddies. The beef I have with it is the small disks (why limit the size of the games?) and the fact that there are some missing games I like (gta and gt3). Overall, I am glad I picked the gc up, especially w/ metroid and wind waker which will never be released to anyone else, heh heh heh......
If i was you, I would get a ps2, and stay away from the lead brick xbox (whose controllers I hate, and games which generally hella blow).
