school closing - gas 2 high

My kids school is closed on monday/tuesday b/c of gas prices! and other people at say their's are too.. something about governer might close schools across Georgia b/c of high gas prices... geez..

Yeah, that's the right thing to do--it's not like GA or any other state wants to spend any money on education.

I was at NOPI this past weekend and could not believe my eyes...reg gas was $2.58. Here it was $2.69 and now it is up to $2.79. It cost me $34.00 to fill mine up today!

Ya, I feel ya, Stueck. While we don't get directly affected by hurricanes, we have the worst gas prices here in Southern California. It's $2.99 or so for regular. I've seen as high as $3.27 for premium. Good thing I don't own an Acura--all models except the RSX base model take the good stuff. Oof.

I just put 0.54 gallons of premium fuel in the scooter...it cost me $1.50 Can't fill up the Nanner because the show tomorrow is indoors and they only allow 1/4 tank! I can't wait to see the prices on Sunday!!!

damn here in aus the price has come down comparatively...

for premium right after Kathrina our price reached a record high of freakin $1.5 a litre...

now it has come down a lil to about 1.35 a litre...

this is premium of 98RON....

i guess we caint complain too much... while rest of world is payin soo much more...

but our fuel prices have gone up almost 60cents in the past yr and a bit

damn, 2.99 seems like a steal...last i filled up was 3.09, ive seen as high as 3.25 for regular over the last 2 weeks
