Say goodbye to the Escort.

Vehicles to be dropped are the Ford Escort, Mercury Cougar, Mercury Villager and Lincoln Continental.

I personally like the design of the new cougars, V6 too!

In regards to the Escort wagon, I HAD ONE! It was the first car I ever drove (family car), was a '94 Sport Edition.

You're right, the thing did suck ****, around 95hp, yeah baby!

But it got me where I had to go, not fast of course. I have my memories of that car tho, I was involved in a total of 3 seperate accidents (2 of them being rear enders, not my fault). And although my back is royally messed after those 2 accidents, I still think it held together pretty well, because it was a heavy car.

I took it camping and ****, which was nice, cuz it had a buncha cargo room. Also known as the green torpedo (cuz it was green), it was also known personally to me, as the ******* wagon, and you can guess only why. Anyone tried to **** in their back seats of a Protege, damb its tight back there!! (but I guess the women like that)...

I had an 86 escort wagon that I came in second at an IASCA sound off with! The only reason why I came in second was I was not an IASCA member and you get an extra 3 points added to your score for that. The guy that beat me only beat me by two points! He had some crazy cutout floor board install in a Mazda pickup. My wagon was super clean like it rolled off the showroom floor (to this day I still can't figure out why I took such good care of it). I got laughed at when I first rolled up there because it looked like this totally stock compact wagon with nothing in it. No tint on the windows, nothing. I had this really killer stealth install in there and that scored some fat points with the judges. The sound quality was killer as well. I had one of the first flip-face Kenwoods in there (actually it was a little door that flipped down in front of the head unit). and two twelve inch Soundstream subs. Infinity rear fill, Kicker mids and tweets and a huge PPI amp. But when you looked in the car it looked like there was just stock. A real sleeper!
