Unhappy The ring

I rented this movie last sunday but I didn't get to see it, since I had to return it tomorow I decided to watch it tonight.
I started watching it past midnight, I usually laugh at horror movies but this is exactly the kind of story that freaks me out. this movie scared the **** out of me, not the kind of scare you get from a movie like freddy crueger but the kind of thing that keeps you up at night. I'm not going to sleep tonight, that's for sure. I have a long night ahead of me until the sun rises ....Damn you The Ring .

What horror movie really scared you?

I really enjoyed The Ring. It wasn't so much scary as it was startling. The first time I saw it in the theaters and it got a few good jumps out of everybody!

I didn't find The Ring that scary, but I don't really believe in ghosts so that's why. But the night my boyfriend and I watched it I had to work graveyard and when I got home at 9am the bedroom light was on with my boy fast asleep. He said that movie freaked him out too. I've heard that from quiet a few people. It you thought that movie was scary rent the new one that came out that has to do with the tooth fairy. It was pretty intense too. I can't think of the name of it though.

Darkness Falls. I just saw that the other day, also not all too scary just startling. Walking out to my car I was a little creeped out by the woods and wind blowing nearby. lol but otherwise, I enjoy scary movies. Recently saw Fear Dot Com. It's just like The Ring, except you go to a website and have 2 days to live...good movie but not worth seeing again.

I've been wanting to see fear.com, that's good to know it was worth at least seeing once. I thought Darkness Falls was better than the ring though...just my two cents

When I was a kid I saw Alien for the first time, and that was sorta scary. But what really scared me was the display on the side of the Aliens arcade game at Shakey's pizza. It had this alien on the side leaning out of a doorway, and it looked alot like my closet door. I dont think I could sleep for a week after.

The first Blair Witch freaked me out. Actually only the end scared me. Where the guy had to turn around and face the corner. Man I couldn't sleep for a few hours and then I just forced myself to go to bed.

Movies haven't scared me since i was 10.

The Ring, Darkness Falls, and Fear.com are all predictable. Nothing really origin in the plot lines. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed them all , its just obvious wants going to happen.

You want a scary movie. IT by stephen King, Scarest made for TV movie ever. Or better yet Legally Blond, freaking scary.

House of 1000 corpses looks good though.

I just rented "The Ring" DVD. What a freaky movie; I loved it. I've always liked the kind that make you think.

She never sleeps eh?

Still haven't seen it, but it's raining today, so it might be a good day to rent a movie...

"Poltergeist" scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. The first one. I saw it on cable right after it came out, when I was 10 or 11. My dad let me watch it, then had to try to explain to my mom why I was propping my closet door shut and wouldn't watch TV.

I rented that movie on my 11th of 12th birthday. Of course we had to see it when it was dark out, just to make sure it would scare the crap out of us. Man, I don't remember being so freaked out. Ah, memories .

The sixth sense didn't scare me at all, it felt more like a mistery film than a horror one, but it was cool.
The ring however felt very dark and sinister, the part at the end (*SPOILER*) when she comes out of the TV with all the hair covering her face, wearing that the old white gawn(sp?) and the white rotting skin..... , it gives me the chills everytime I think about it.

I managed to sleep that night though, fell asleep at about 6:30am after watching like a million infomercials, now I want to buy a Miracle Blade 3 .
