That is a very good question?
Why are you paying for his mod...he should get his lazy *** a better paying job...you should be spending money on yourself and showering YOURSELF with gifts.
Actually, I see him paying for your MODS!!!
I am sorry if I am sounding like an , but I feel that this is incorrect, according to my book.

I saw this last night and I almost drove off the road I was lauging so hard.
There was this tricked out black Dodge Dakota pick-up. It had new rims, paint job, mufflers, graphics and box cover. But what got me was the wing attached to the end of the box. It looked like what is on the Protege. Okay I may be wrong but why bother. Sure looked stupid in my opinion. Too bad I did not have a camera.
I was going to start a new tread but I'll just add my 2 cents here.

I don't think aluminum wings look bad if they are only around 6 inches off the trunk. Like foxymazda's wing.
There is a nissan 200sx in my town with an aluminum wing that is at least 2 feet off his trunk. It is halarious.
There is also a red dodge ram with a big spoiler on his bed cover. He has all kinds of other stuff on it too. Including a windshield banner that says Red Neck.

Honda Rice?? What's a Neon Then?
That's it I'm off to get my digital camera. There's someone in my town. population 5,000, that has a Neon. Like a 1997 Neon, the old style anyway. Like the expresso? Remeber that one?
Anyway he bought what looks like a big kit and installs in on his Neon. The first thing he does is install it bit by bit over the course of several months. Not painted of course. So he drives around with a beige hood (fake intake scoops of course), then beige side skirts, then a beige front bumper etc etc.
Then come the shiny wheels, not rims.... wheels. steel wheels with shiny hubcaps....
and finally the paint job
Green with gold flames.....
Green with Gold flames..... I said it twice and I still can't belive it.
Big steel wheels and gap between his tires and wheel wells about 4"
As far as I can tell no performance mode what so ever. All "SHow" and no go.
Will someone please explain? I always thought the eye catching paint job was for when you were ready to hit the show circuit... with all the mods and looking for trophies. Not the first thing you do to a butt ugly car to begin with (IMO)
