Reaping the benefits (of working for JVC Electronics)

So, today I get this mysterious call from my JVC boss...who tells me to meet him in the Base Exchange (FYI: BX is the store/mall on an Air Force installation). My boss lives in frigging Washington D.C. So I go meet him after I get off my reg. AF job, only to find out he flew however thousand of miles or whatever to give me personal recognition in my store for moving the product (see my sig, "I'm a hustla ni**a, ask about me...")...*ahem*, that speaks volumes. Very cool, but it gets better, so happens that a customer that purchased a 26" LCD HD tv from me stopped by to let me know how much he & his wife enjoyed it...perfect timing. My boss was so impressed, he hooked me up on the spot and gave me a free JVC head unit.
Wait, there's more. He goes, if you keep hustling the product the way you are now, I'll give you a raise. Music to my ears. Then he says, if you don't mind bunking up w/2 other guys, there's a spot for you in Vegas for the CES & SEMA shows. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! My jaw just about hit the floor. Talk about a cool deal. Oh yeah, everything PAID for of course....Man....I'm totally lovin' life right now.

I'll have to check on the 6.5s though....

So far...I'm not dissapointed (& I have alot more to read up on, I'm even checking out some stuff online)....it's pretty nice. Has a TON of features and has 2 sets of inputs and a seperate set of hook-ups specifically for your subs. You can adjust your amp gain and sub without having to get out of the driver's seat...this thing is great. You can even adjust the angle 4 ways for all you tall bastards and those in between. Also, you can adjust the contrast from invisible to super bright! The thing has like 12 different EQ levels...from Dance to Reggae (FINALLY an input for reggae!), plus 3 more you can input yourself. You can program up to 40 CDs and 24 radio stations. It's Sirius ready also. Very pleasing to the eyes too.
Even though I work the company & it's my job to move the product. I'd recommend it any day!!
My old one didn't have quite as many features and didn't have the cool motorized face or the cool dot matrix car race...ha ha...yeah...go get it!

If you don't mind me asking....how much is it going for in the civilian sector?

i believe it was around $450 (australian dollars)... so somefin like 300ish USD...

i was pretty much decided on getting that... then the store offered me last seasons kenwood one... with a crazy flip down face and an awsome EQ for $500.... so i took that instead....

Raggae settin on equalizer? yes it is about time.... *wonder if they will come up with crunk*

Hey Phil, do me a favey man.... I'm looking for a JL 8w3v2 subwoofer...I know it's by a different company but thought you may have some other random stereo hookups. I hear it's the best 8" sub that'll fit in my stock MSP audio rack. I'm also looking for a nice headunit for my p5...you got anything you can get a sweet deal on?? pm me or call me..I want something with an animated display and mp3.cd-r capability...thats about it.
