Profiling cops!!
So I got pulled over on my way to work today, and got ticketed for not having my license. The good part was that they were only picking up people with out of state plates, and letting everyone else through. I moved to Nebraska a couple of months ago and still have Iowa plates on my car. I told the cop I had 6 months by law, and he tried telling me I only had 30 days. So I told him I wanted something in writing that shows that and he said it didn't matter cause he wasn't going to ticket me for that anyway. I then said "Why are you only waiving people over with out of state plates then." He didn't say anything and a couple seconds later stupid cop # 2 comes up and says that my exhaust was illegal. I said that is not an exhaust, it is a muffler (hoping he wouldn't check out under my car) Anyway he told the other guy to write me up for that, and I again asked to see the law that states that it has to be "stock" in the state of Nebraska. He got pissed and didn't awnser!! So I then told them that they were sure trying hard to screw over the younger people that live in my apartment complex. Stupid cop #1 then asked for my address and work address. I gave it to him then added "You should have my work address on file cause I get stuff stolen all the time, and you guys never even come file a report even if I have someone on tape. "I don't need the attitude from you today" Is what the cop came back with. I added "Hurry up and write the ticket, so I can get to work and call my lawyer." Also when I was getting ready to pull away with my ticket, I showed him the digital voice recorder I keep in my car and told him it's gonna look funny in court when the Judge hears how you harrassed me this morning, and laughed my *** off driving down the street. I look back and they are just standing there like someone shot their dog. I got the last laugh, hahahah....

I got pulled for failure to change address and it is 30 days, but it was within the same state and same county! I waited 90 or so days, but after getting pulled I changed it, went to the courthouse where they photo copied it for the judge, charges were dropped, but I still have it on my record under public files How dumb is that?!
