Pissy mods?
What the hell? I was just curious why this thread was closed?

He said he tried a search, and uhh TheMAN, I have READ THE ****** MANUAL, and those bulb numbers ain't in the p5 manual. That or me and quite a few other people have bunk manuals. And another thing, what if he "LTFM" ya know Lost The ****** Manual? But anyway, what gets me is that there were quite a few helpful posts going until you came in with your usual unnecessary post of "RTFM", or "read the FAQ". Who cares if other people are willing to help? Don't post there then. And I'm assuming it was you who closed the thread. I'm just curious.....why? If it pisses you off so damn much, don't click on it.

So basically, as people who just put together this big resource of protege info, and see people still asking the same questions over and over again, it gets irritating.
Imagine youre sitting in a library and youre sitting next to the author of the book sitting infront of you. You keep asking the author what the book is about, and what it says. Eventually, the guy is going to say, "Look pal, I wrote the goddamn book so people would stop ******* asking me questions. READ MY ******* BOOK and be quiet."
Does this hopefully make some sense to you?

And yes I realize he put a lot of hard work into the FAQ, that's cool, and its much appreciated. I've used it many times. I dunno its just odd how the others were happy to help, why not let other people help if they want to? Instead of having someone get all piseed off and shutting it down. I'm just asking mind you, I really don't care or know any of you, it just seems kinda dickish.

jason has to pay for this website, and each post costs him money. the fewer repeat posts we can get the better.
we want this site to stay up eh?

TYPICALLY the people asking the PREVIOUSLY answered questions are new....and thus need to be properly taught how to use the resources here that we have....yes I agree that sometimes the RTFM....OR Read the FAQ alone is somewhat harsh to the newbies....when in fact the SAME message can be much more tactfully put and NOT scare off our new members because they fell they were jumped on for asking what THEY thought was a simple question....we could ALL just NICELY direct them to previous posts or ask them to use the search feature...or politely tell them "the information you seek is located in the FAQ section located at the top of the page." and life would be easier for all of us.

We have been through this before: the specs for the bulbs arent in the p5 manual. Ending the thread with go READ THE ****** MANUAL and then closing down the thread was definetly a classy move

Ehh I dunno there, I think orangealpha was being sarcastic, and saying that the thread shouldn't of been ended like that..... I dunno though, that's just what I got. Because I have a p5, and like orange said nowhere in the manual does it say what type of bulbs it requires. So RTFM is PFU (Pretty ****** Useless).
