OMG You had better send the punk a tonne more emails and perhaps send to his other customers as well. That is not an intake, that is a pipe with a tube. It doesn't even look like it will fit if you want it too. No hole for the air temp sensor, and a few too many other openings. Ths does not look to be a protege intake at all. In addition it is peeling or scatched. It is totally used and in horrible condition at that. Plus no filter??

Do something to make the seller's life a living hell

 

What you see is ALL I got from him, As far as not being the right one I really can't say myself I have nothing to judge this thing against a real one.

Oh yeah on the filter I asked him about that & his answer they send the filter separate for security reasons. Umm ok but isn't that the purpose of buying Insurance when shipping?

Thats the first thing I thought, it looks used. Chances are he is buying a crappy filter to send on to you cause the first one was destroyed.

Oh ****. That looks like one of the intakes you can pick up from autozone (local car parts store) that is on their selves.

I've contacted the guy on the phone, he says he's going to ship another intake system out & what I received was shipped by mistake. I'm not sure what to make of that, So i'm left waiting for the Fed-Ex guy again.

 

i would try to get your money back...hey i dot a idea....find out where he is and im sure that you could find a member from his town and have them go to his shop and pick it up for you...just a idea

 

Last I heard I can keep whatever that pipe is, I've been thinking of giving it to my step-kids as a exhaust tip

 

What are his other feedbacks like? Were you the unlucky first guy to get a pooched order from him, or are there several negatives?

I'd definitly be negativing him, even if he resolves it. If he does resolve your problem, he can post his reply to your feedback, but at least he'll have that blotch on his record.

I really hope he is sending you the the proper intake and not just trying to buy time...
