Exclamation Intake or Pully system

I am a little tight on cash right now, but I have already ordered both a pully system and intake, but unfortunatly I am going to have to cancel one of these orders. Now in your best opion, should I hold off on the pullys? Because my thinking is that with car producing more Torque and breathing with a stock intake, it will put too much strain on the car. Or is my reasoning just plain stupid. Let me know you guys, I have got to make this decision by noon tomorrow! Thanks for your help.

those posted gains are rediculous...you wont get more than 3-4 out of either....

it's really personal preference...the intake WILL be an easier install if you're lazy like me

You would be surprised how meany people post in the wrong section. Anyway, it's not like Mike was asking for much, we are trying to help answer a question you asked, no need to be sarcastic.

I'd go for the pulley, unless you really think you're gonna get 10-11 hp from an intake. That's too funny. The pulley number is at least within the boundaries of physical reality.

How much is SR Motorsports asking for the intake? I've got Simota CAIs in stock for $80 plus shipping.

Thanks for the feed back guys. The gains I posted are the gains that SR motorsports claims each system will add. I think I am going to go with the pully system. This closed intake (or ram intake) is what they are calling it, sounds to good to be true. Pluse I read a review that taking the filter out to clean it is a pain in the ***. I'll probebly just go with a regular ingen cold air or something along those lines. I ll post again when I finish the install. Thanks guys.

I had a crank pulley on my ZX2... It helped power throughout the powerband... More than the intake that I put on... Is the pulley underdriven? How much lighter is it than stock? Obviously the lighter and more underdriven it is, the more power you get.
