well, it is actually both, a wagon and a hatchback. It all depends how you see it, it has a wagon look but has a hint of hatchback, very hard to explain.

It's a station wagon in that the rear panel is flat, there isn't a trunk lid per se, like on a hatch back. The term station wagon usually refers to those big *** Vista Cruisers you see on the 70's show. I like to consider my P5 a "sport wagon"

I am not even going to vote on this one....ONCE UPON A TIME we had this discussion/argument BEFORE...

I went out on line and dug into countless automotive dictionaries and term sources......and by what has been laid out by "experts" our car fits into BOTH catagories......

so its a hatch stationwagon.

PERSONALLY I prefer the term "Sport Wagon"

Hatchback and only in north america would some one think that it's a wagon. the Pro5 is 4" or 5" shorter than the sedan. this is comes all in the back of the car. Name me one wagon that is shorter than the sedan. Yes there are a few that are the same but none shorter.

But hell call it what you like.

BTW.....there is nothing in ANY definition I have ever seen or been able to find of a wagon or hatch that has anything to do with how long the vehicle is....its irrevelent, the terms deal strictly with the configuration of the body and its doors/liftgates/hatchers.

and as stated....due to differing opinions/definitions....the p-5 fits into BOTH catagories..

SO call it what you like.
