I'm not anti-France, but it is discouraging when a country we've been allied with for a long time tells us to go jump off a cliff. Where were the French on D-Day? Not on the beaches of Normandy with the U.S., Britain, and Canada... Plus I think Freedom Fries, Freedom Toast, Freedom Kiss... whatever begins with French is just equally retarded...

They were there. Maybe you should look it up before you say something? A lot of French forces managed to escape to Britain to regroup. That and their civilians were putting up with a forced occupation and had a famous resistance movement that caused a lot of damage to Germany at the same time.

I just read on google news that Iraq fired a scud-like missle at Kuwaitt last night. It was taken down by the US missle defense thingy, but apparently it's one of the weapons that they were not allowed to have from the resolution in '91 or '92 or whenever it was. Right now that is at least one missle they were not supposed to have. I'll admit I don't know much about the situation, but wasn't the the whole point of the UN investigators, to FIND those missles? Gee, wonder what makes people think they have any hidden weapons?

NUKE THEM! i was against this war at first, but saddam's done it now! 2 SCUD MISSILES fired into kuwait. the same damn scuds that could carry biological weapons. screw this ****. send all 280,000 troops in for a massive invasion... that's what i think. iraqis can only wear a white loin cloth and walk with their arms in the air, otherwise, they get shot.

and so much for ******* US-british intelligence! scud missiles are NOT small! where the hell were they that the US couldn't get their intelligence to provide solid proof that they had them? if he's still got scuds, he's still got vx nerve gas and a **** load of other nasty biological and chemical stuff.

First off, im taking Saddam down. Let me vent a little about several things anti-war people are saying.
(Sorry if I offend anyone, but this is how I feel)

I cant believe this anti-war people who TRUST Saddam more than they trust Bush. What idiots! Why would you even give a grain of trust to someone who kills and brainwashes his own people? Saddam wins every election for (2) reasons. 1.) If you dont vote for him, you will die. 2.) He is the only one running!

Many anti-war people say "Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11." Either these people are in denial that 9-11 ever happen, or they are very ignorant. Its a sad thing that many people forgot something tragic that only happen a short time ago.

Another "point" anti-war people are trying to make is "We didnt give the U.N. enough time to do what they had to do." I think 12 years is plenty enough time. Just think how many weapons Saddam probably manufactured in that time frame.

Did you know there are tons of Antrax that is unaccounted for in Iraq? If a envelope of anthrax caused large building to be permentaly contaminated, just think what tons of that **** could do. Not to mention how many people could die from it.

Finnaly, the ultimate comment I heard from a anti-war person tonight. "Bush always acts like he is a religious man, He says "God Bless the USA" at the end of all his speeches. If he really is a religious man, he would sit down with Saddam and end this thing peacefully." .... OK... What dream world are you living in? Peacefully? Sometimes you have to fight to keep peace, its a fact of life...
I agree with you 110%

Exclamation Hooorahhh!!!!!!

I am a US MARINE, unfortunately I have missed the chance on getting called up because of personal family matters that FORCED me to detatch from my unit that is currently deployed in KUWAIT. In the past hours I have seen meny people amassing in the streets in protest for the war against IRAQ. This is fine and dandy until you make it personal by attacking the troops serving overseas, and by stopping traffic to get media attencion to yourselves and your cause. This is not the picture we want our troops seeing overseas, they are only doing their jobs that they have sworn to do. They are there to protect your lives and even countries from the harm that we saw on 9.11.. If you dont like this country or what we do then LEAVE, dont take advantage of the freedoms we give you with our blood and spit in our face! I am tired of some people and governments blinding the eyes of our citizens and causing comotion when we should be united. The countries that are against us in this conflict are coutries that have been dealing with Iraq in direct contempt of the laws passed when we had our cease fire in 91. As for the people that dont care, What would be your emotions if you were there and saw your friend or brother or father get shot an wounded or even killed? would you care then? All of the men and women over there have some ties our family and friends. And we want to see them all come back alive and well. Some of them probably are members of this and other protege forums. Is that the opinion that you would like them to see when they get on their comuter and see? Lets show them respect and loyalty, because when you go to bed and sleep nice and tight, their the ones that say dont be afraid you will be safe! As for the Canadian that says you grew ***** and didnt have to follow the americans, when some islamic militant comes knocking on your door because he doesnt like your people having freedom. Or some country like N.Korea threatens you with nuclear weapons, who are you gonna call for help? What will you think of us if we didnt do anything about it? Would your thoughts about the US. government change? Remember that Canada is free and will be free while we are here. The US protects you just by being your neighbor, if you were anywhere else life would be a little different dont you think? Anyways Im not anti-Canada, I think we are all brothers in this world, lets put aside our differences, and give the Iraqi people a taste of what we take forgranted. FREEDOM!
God Bless the USA!!!

No one that I know of is complementing Saddam on anything, let alone trusting him. I don't know where you got this from.

Many anti-war people say "Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11." Either these people are in denial that 9-11 ever happen, or they are very ignorant. Its a sad thing that many people forgot something tragic that only happen a short time ago.
Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11. I bet that they didn't mind it, but linking those terrorists to Iraq is very ignorant.

Another "point" anti-war people are trying to make is "We didnt give the U.N. enough time to do what they had to do." I think 12 years is plenty enough time. Just think how many weapons Saddam probably manufactured in that time frame.
Actually the facts are there about how many weapons Saddam has. It's much less then one state in the US has. If you had two neighbouring countries that would salivate over the chance to invade, wouldn't you want to have some weapons??? They have no nuclear weapons by the way....

Did you know there are tons of Antrax that is unaccounted for in Iraq? If a envelope of anthrax caused large building to be permentaly contaminated, just think what tons of that **** could do. Not to mention how many people could die from it.
Did Saddam ever attack someone in the US? Did you ever bother reading up on stuff such as that all the chemical and biological agents were once imported to Iraq for free by the US?

Finnaly, the ultimate comment I heard from a anti-war person tonight. "Bush always acts like he is a religious man, He says "God Bless the USA" at the end of all his speeches. Hmmm, I never said/heard anything similar to this....

yes, to all you bastarous whiners who don't think we should be at war.....WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO??? We can't just "cease fire" and come back home...at this point that is impossible.

The war has begun, the ONLY thing we should do now is support our troops as much as possible.
Well it's too late now. Good luck to you Wil. If you think that this will stop terrorism or threats to the US, you are dead wrong.

Ghost323f, you're missing the point that people are protesting against the decision by the government, not the troops. Nobody has anything against the troops as they are serving their country with honour.

Finally, I just wish that people would look up some info about the past between Saddam and the US. No, not the Gulf war, even before......

I'd also like people to realize that no matter how fast Saddam disarmed, there was no way that Bush would've avoided war.

Starting a war is the most important thing to Bush, justifying it.... well that's another thing.

terrorism

this war is not fully about terrorism, Its about a government that wants total control of its neighbors and will stop at nothing to get it. Its about Iraq killing its own citizens with gas and chemicals to show its force because of a difference of opinion, race, religion. Its about a cease fire that was given because of a promice to disarm that he has ignored. This is apperant already as you see SCUDs flying twards our troops. Gee i thought they didnt have them, hmm. Its about freeing its people and letting them decide their fate in life. These are some of the reasons we are here in America. We fled because of the same **** happening in England. We had a place to go, where will they go? The US is liberating Iraq and as time will tell, you will se why some people are against a free Iraq. When the dust clears you will change your mind.
