Exclamation Oh My! looks like I might be leaving the fold

I might be laeving Mazda and going to Volvo....I found out I can get $5500 worth of rebates on a 2002 S40 ....$4000 manufacturer rebate and $1500 incentive for Ford Employees to buy Volvo(we own them)....PLus I get it on employee priveledge...all the bells and whistles,1.9L T with 160hp 4 wheel disk brakes and 5 speed automatic....if I can get the financing I will probably go for it...just think a new Volvo for $14,000!!! Kick butt

Are you sure you want the S40? I was heading towards a volvo also until I found out about all of the mechanical errors. I would definately make a search and investigate the S40 2002 for any problems.

I believe 60 and and up are pretty good.

I think you are getting a good deal on that car, is because for the first time in like ten years I think Volvo did meet the profit margin in the US market. Except for the new S60, all the other model had a smaller amount sold then expected. It is a good though. I have driven a few times, I drove the V40, the wagon, and that car is very peppy, and has good mileage too. And, you can always depend on your car's safety! Good luck.
