I'm so glad we don't have those in Iowa :D

J-Protege Sep 25, 2007 07:49 PM

I wish we didn't have them, I'm considering moving to get away from them!

my car is the same way...
a) 600watts of bass in the trunk (its not much, but it does the trick!)
b) full exhaust.

that way, even if my subs arent on, they can still hear me coming!!

Yeah but he has a turbo that acts like a muffler. I have 2.5" (OD) all the way back from the turbo and it's still quite quiet unless I sit at 100% throttle :P

He must have a corksport turboback or something, that crap is LOUD (and also the cheapest turboback)

Jackelope Sep 25, 2007 08:44 PM

i has no cats ;)

turbo/pipe/aerospeed tip = loud (not GOD awful loud though.. but loud)

_Kansei_ Sep 25, 2007 08:49 PM

why you no cats? they're totally FTW

but seriously, they make trees happy and also people who are forced to drive behind you.

I'm glad I lead the NEPOC group to the Lime Rock meet because from what I heard, everyone was behind Mark (bazooka joe) was caughing and gagging from the turbo p5 without cats smell :P

I have cats and they like to lick my feet when I cover them in tuna. The whole emo cutting myself was just a joke, but I like the concern that yall showed makes me feel like I could talk to you guys about anything. You guys have to remember I like to joke around, but cutting yourself is bad there are easier ways.

_Kansei_ Sep 25, 2007 09:13 PM

What if you put tuna.. somewhere else?

o_O

:inthebum: :spew: :barf: :barf: :barf:

Jackelope Sep 26, 2007 08:27 AM

why would you want them to lick your head? ;)

and... my car was catless when i bought it. & as far as i know, it doesnt stink behind me... least i dont think.

I'm sure it's quite smelly

have someone drive behind you with the fan blowing and the windows down

I'm guessing you're in a state without emissions testing?

cornercarve98 Sep 26, 2007 06:54 PM

try a car with 4 more cylinders and no emissions control for a strong smell. pre-1970s muscle cars: mmmm delicious...but then after a while i like my lungs and eyes to stay in tact.

_Kansei_ Sep 26, 2007 06:56 PM

turbo 4-cyl cars are bad enough, but yeah old school cars are just downright nasty.

J-Protege Sep 26, 2007 06:57 PM

Cat-less is so much cheaper for midpipes, and Alberta has no emission controls, but I may invest in a high flow cat for the smell and loudness issue.

yeah it does keep the noise down and the trees happier :)

until of course you need to dispose of the cat and it's a toxic whorehouse

Jackelope Sep 26, 2007 08:19 PM

well, i live out in the country, no checks, and i eventually will install a hiflow cat - and another exhaust system (not so loud)
