the new Caddy CTS commercials, namely the one with the woman talking about "The question is not..." and ending with "The question is, when you turn on the car, does it return the favor?", is an awesome commercial. Great dialog, great camera work, great music, cool car, and yes, a pretty woman to top it off. Those spots pwn pretty much all other luxury car commercials. That's how you do a commercial. Very American too. Awesome.

End enthusiastic post.

Papa smurf is a gangsta pimp. My freinds black chick came over last night and tried to get all getto on him, but my freind is too gangsta for that and gave her the angry pirate and sent her on her way again. So now my freind is being called papa smurf

not really a 'random' thought... more of a "deep" thought:

"I hope that after I die, people will say of me: "That guy sure owed me a lot of money."

"I once had a dog and I named him Stay. It was fun to call him. "Come here, Stay. Come here, Stay." My dog went insane."

i'm thinking wax on, wax off! what kind of wax does everyone eles prefer????
i'm liking eagle one nanowax, what a shine!!!:score:

I usually use turtle wax ice because it goes on and off like none other, and plus.. no white residue on black trim! amazing

It actually seems to last ok too

I still haven't found any good information on what to use for a long-lasting, great protecting wax to apply before winter. Basically, I don't care about shine, I just want it to protect and maybe last. No one caters to that >_<

KrayzieFox October-6th-2007 03:50 PM

ICE liquid wax FTW!

It doesn't work at all as a polish as they advertise it.. but the car looks good and the water beads well for months!

Jackelope October-6th-2007 04:27 PM

dentinger October-6th-2007 05:40 PM

its the stuff that they make candle's out of, and they stuff that a bee's nest is made out of. duh!

WonderMike October-7th-2007 12:37 PM

I like to use hot candle wax on my car you drip it on then buff it out. It takes forever to do the whole car thats why I only have a shiny hood

sumo_Bob October-7th-2007 12:57 PM

had a bad experience with hot wax (ex-gf), I can't grow hair there anymore.

back to the dream engine swap from a few pages ago, how errant of me not to think of swapping final drive ratios. i would need ratios of roughly 4.749:1 (for gears 1-4) and 4.037:1 (for gears 5,6,R). and since the 'speed3's tranny comes with a 3.941:1 gear for the first four gears, i could just swap it and have only one to make/buy. yes! the dream lives on....
