that's fucked up. although.. i'd never just sit in my car if someone was gonna hit me. nothin worse than getting your *** kicked while you're in a position where you can't move i'd imagine. get your *** kicked with some dignity... fight back. :/

 

And there's where you run into problems. If you have two fighters, fine. If you have one fighter, someone's going to end up really badly hurt.

It might be the person who got beat up in this one, but it might not - if one person has a beating as his goal and the other has ending a beating as his goal, the guy who wants it to end has a whole lot more choices.

Personally, I'd lean toward crippling the *******. See how pushy he is with his knee bent 90 degrees the wrong way.

The ******* outside the car is actually really lucky that the pickup driver didn't have a gun in the glove compartment. Once he started in through the window, I don't think there's a jury out there that'd convict the driver or passenger, particularly with that tape in evidence.

 

obviously he didnt have a gun though. lol. i'm just sayin... you can still end a fight by getting out. but i wouldnt sit in a position where if the other guy did start fighting... i'd get the **** kicked out of me. even if you want the fight to end.. there's no reason to get catch a beatdown. for all you know the guy in the truck couldve been bigger (cant tell since it's dark) and couldve avoided the situation by just getting out and standing up to the other guy. i'm not all about fighting or anything. but i am about not getting beat down and humiliated in front of my peers if at all possible. of course, i'm only 5'2... and i'm kind of crazy so i'll stand up to a bigger guy lol (when you're small... you gotta have some *****, or you get picked on) only time i've ever really gotten the **** kicked out of me, was by a guy the same size as me. again, not for fighting... just lookin out for #1 ;D

 

I, even being a girl, would have flipped for the fact that that idiot was jumping on the damn truck! Stupid muscle head freak on too much juice and nothing better to do. lol

 

I dunno about getting out in that situation - what's worse: getting beat down by one guy punching through a window, or getting out and having 20 guys jump your ***.

That crowd would've killed that guy. Tough one to decide.

Wonder what the guy in the truck did to get the other one so pissed off.

he couldn't just go, there was a car lined up in front of him if you listen closely. thats a fucked up situation. if he had gotten out, he would have gotten pummelled by all this dude boyz... that is a situation where that fat ****** needed to get shot. i would have slammed the door open on his gut then stomped his *** in the throat when he went down. then let his buddies get me. i still would have gotten mine in. with that many witnesses and a camera, im sure that dude is way locked up though.

Being from Texas and all I'm surprised that guy didn't get a bullet put in him. Everyone I know carries something in their truck (and most in their cars) ranging from just a handgun to shotgun. Of course, he could have just rolled the damn window up, and floored it when that guy jumped into his bed.

 

Call me a bitch or a punk but if that would have been me in the truck you would have seen bright flashes from the inside of the truck, and the world would be one dumb *** less!!!!! Since one of my friends had his ride beat and almost got his *** beat for pulling in the wrong parking lot, I always keep my gun with me. I also have a CHL so I'm legal.

Chances are, if you're carrying a gun, so is someone else. Your car wouldn't be the only place with "bright flashes" then - there'd be a bunch of dead people, and one of them would probably be you.

Call me whatever you want - but I'd rather take a beating than use a gun to "defend" myself. What goes around comes around. Beatings are easier to take than a bullet. And there were like 20 people around that one guy who got punched - you'd have shot them all? Which one would've shot YOU?

Seriously - and I'm not trying to start a flamewar in any way - do any of you really think you have what it takes to shoot another human being? It's easy to say, but much harder to do.

I don't think it makes you a ***** OR a real man to carry a gun, but same thing goes for not packing, either.

The closest I'll ever come to owning a firearm is my Daisy pump BB rifle. And that suits me just fine.

 

Understood, and no war of words! This is America and you, as I, are intitled to opinion, and the right (if we choose) to bear arms!
A gun battle might of insued or a shot might have scattered the crowd we shall never know. I would have not been at that large of a gathering without peeps of my own, though. At the very least he would have caught a beat down also!
Anywho, I hope I am never faced with a situation like that! I am not a violent man, but I will not sit idley by and get my *** beat.

 

I agree that bringing a gun into this would've been a bad move, I was just saying the guy was lucky that there wasn't one.

As someone getting beat on, if you go into it with the intent to maim the other guy (where his intent is likely just to beat you), you're a lot less likely to find yourself in real trouble if you do it but don't use a weapon or just use something handy like a chair. If you maim him by shooting him, you're in a world of hurt from that point - your legal troubles have just begun. If you kill him, again your legal troubles have just begun.

A maiming in a fight that the other guy started, on the other hand, is pretty much all his fault even if you do end up in court.

 

No honor in punching the crap out of some guy while he's sitting in his truck avoiding the confrontation. Maybe he did do something to deserve a pounding, BUT pull the guy out so he has SOME chance to defend himself. If one of my friends did what that guy did, I would have smoked by buddy.

Takes a REAL tough guy to punch someone through the window of his car. IMHO

Doesn't anyone just fight anymore, some big guy picks on a little guy and right away there has to be a gun involved. I'm not the biggest guys out there and I've had people pick a fight with me just because of my size. You only have a couple options, learn how to fight, learn how to talk, or learn how to run....
